Myths, built to scale, given away

The art is made the way the robots are: as systems that have to hold under uncertainty. Each piece is a collaboration across continents and knowledge systems — artisans, engineers, mythology, and the desert's own requirements — and each is designed to be released rather than kept.

The work is produced through Earth Innovation Hub, an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Navagunjara Reborn

A nine-animal composite god from Odisha's Mahabharata, fused with the Phoenix. Eighteen feet of dhokra bronze, cane, sabai grass, appliqué, and aluminum; flame effects at the head. Built once in 2025 with co-artist Richa Maheshwari, reincarnated with a dragon's head in 2026.
